For High-Strength Fire Protection

If you need fire resistance for more than 3 hours-like for fire door cores or load-bearing walls-go with boards that are 12mm thick or more.

For Standard Fire Partitions

8 to 10mm boards work well for cleanrooms or operating room walls.

For Lightweight Decorative Use

Thinner boards-5 to 6mm-are good for ceilings or cladding, as long as you pair them with fire-rated framing.
