The excellent waterproof and moisture-proof performance is due to the stable 5·1·8 crystal phase formed during the curing process of magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride, which forms a dense structure that effectively blocks the penetration of water molecules. At the same time, the inorganic components of the board itself do not provide conditions for mold and insect growth, achieving natural mold and insect resistance, and maintaining long-term stability in both dry and humid climates.

The fireproof performance of this MGO board reaches the highest Class A1 non-combustible standard specified in the national standard GB 8624-2012 (equivalent to European standard EN 13501-1 A1fl), which is far superior to traditional flame-retardant building materials. It can withstand extreme high temperatures of up to 1200℃ without catching fire or producing open flames, and even at 1800℃, it can maintain structural integrity without melting or dripping. During combustion, it does not release toxic and harmful gases such as carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen cyanide (HCN), and the released trace hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas even has a flame-retardant effect, effectively reducing smoke toxicity and ensuring the safety of personnel evacuation in fire scenarios.

In professional fire resistance tests, the board shows excellent performance: when composed into a lightweight partition wall with keels, the fire resistance limit can reach more than 2 hours (4 hours for 12mm thick boards), and it meets the indicators of combustion growth rate (FIGRA ≤ 120 W/s) and total heat release (THR600s ≤ 7.5 MJ) in the single burning test (SBI).
